Class of 2026 Transfer Program

For the Class of 2026 Transfer Program, FAE admission is limited to Florida public school students who are transferring in to Florida Academy of Excellence as 12th graders. Students must have earned a minimum of 21 high school credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 1.9 upon admission. To be eligible for graduation in May, students must complete a total of 24 high school credits with a final GPA of at least 2.0.

Students who still need to complete some credits have the option to meet their requirements using Florida Virtual School Flex courses OR NovaPath Academics courses. (visit NovaPathAcademics.com)

Details and Costs – Class of 2026 Transfer Program

Total Cost = $950 
Includes – Enrollment with Initial Transcript Evaluation; Up to Four 1/2 Credit Online Courses, Graduation Ceremony, Cap & Gown, Diploma with Diploma Cover
Additional Courses = $150 per 1/2 credit course)

Enrollment dates are effective from February 1 – May 1, 2026; Students must be registered and enrolled no later than March 1, 2026 to qualify for this option. Later enrollment is permitted but the diploma may not be delivered until after the graduation ceremony.

Graduation Ceremony is May 9, 2026 – 4726 FL-54, New Port Richey, FL 34652

High School Graduation & Diploma→ Students who meet the curriculum completion requirements to graduate from Florida Academy of Excellence are eligible for official transcripts and a high school diploma issued by FAE. The following are the high school graduation requirements: 

  • 4 credits of English  
  • 4 credits of Math 
  • 3 credits of Science 
  • 3 credits of Social Studies 
  • 10 Electives
  • Any of these listed or others with prior approval:
  • 160 hours of paid work experience (160= 1 credit; 80= .5 credit) 
  • Foreign Language 
  • 160 hours of community service (160= 1 credit; 80= .5 credit)
  • Team or Individual Sports 
  • Physical Education
  • Computer/ Technology Art/ Fine Arts/ 
  • Home Economics/ Practical Arts/ Family Care 
  • On the Job Training/ Intern/ Apprenticeship/ 
  • Music/ Instrument/  Bible

Complete this Connect Card.
Upon enrollment, provide the student’s birth certificate, immunization records, and physical exam form, as well as previous high school transcripts and documentation for all elective or alternative credit earned. All items will be uploaded into the enrollment portal.

Payment Options – Invoices are sent through QuickBooks.
A) Full payment of $950 upon enrollment
B) Deposit of $475 upon enrollment, remainder due by March 1st to guarantee graduation materials
